Though the Gulf States are relatively stable, they are increasingly challenged by a new generation of radicalised youth tired of the old order and who see the virulent strain of jihadist ideology as espoused by the Islamic State (I.S.) as not just a viable, but an attractive political and social model to propagate and consolidate within.
