We are proud to announce that CDRE Patrick J. Tyrrell OBE RN (Ret’d) Chairman of the SIA Advisory Board is to represent SAGE International Australia (SIA) as moderator and head of breakout group for Littoral OpTech North: ‘The Colder Littorals’, Oct. 16-18, Halifax, Canada.

The workshop is supported by the Royal Canadian Navy, Nova Scotia Community College, Centre for Ocean Ventures & Entrepreneurship (COVE), and SAAB.

Littoral OpTech North is the fourth of a series of regional workshops on Littoral Operations and Technology.

As most major urban population centers are located along a continent’s littoral space, the defence of any country’s seaward approaches/coastlines is critical to a country’s security.
