As part of SIA’s ongoing work in the field of Disruptive Technologies in the Maritime Domain with the UK-based international defence exhibitor, Maritime/Air Systems & Technologies (MAST),CDRE Patrick J Tyrrell & I were sent to India to discuss the utility of the Advanced Workshop we ran earlier this year (May) in Portsmouth, UK.

We are pleased to announce that discussions are now underway to hold the second Advanced Workshop on Disruptive Technologies in the Maritime Domain, tentatively scheduled for September 2019 in Copenhagen Denmark for the Royal Danish Navy.

On behalf of SIA, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the MAST Team for our time in India, especially MAST Director Warren Edge, Despina Edge and Eike Eickhoff for their patronage and support. And we look forward to another great collaboration with MAST in 2019.
