Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China

On the evening of 25 November 2021, Dr. John Bruni, SAGE Founder & CEO was privileged to have interviewed Lithuanian MP Dovilė Šakalienė for SAGE podcast The Focus. Apart from it being a very engaging and interesting interview (due to be released next week 30 November), Dovilė said that she belonged to an organisation called the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China (IPAC). Considering that SAGE's focus is on geopolitics in the Indo-Pacific with a watching brief on the People's Republic, we at SAGE thought it in the interest of our audience to introduce them to the IPAC. For those of you who are concerned with the behaviour of the PRC regarding the Muslim Uyghur people of western China, the Buddhist people of Tibet in southwest China, the multitude of social, cultural, religious and political minorities within the PRC heartland as well as Hong Kong and Taiwan then you should all take note of the excellent work of the IPAC. Dovilė will be rejoining the team at SAGE's The Focus podcast in 2022 to let us know of the work the IPAC has been up to.
