Idlib – Multiple Affairs in the Badlands feat. Dr. Imad Harb (STRATEGIKON 78)

In this episode, John & David look at the bleeding mess that is Syria, specifically the city of Idlib where hold out rebel forces are wedged between the forces of Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad, who is backed by the Russians and Iranians and opposed by the Turks. It is a complicated battle space, complicated even more by the overlay of the Global Coronavirus Crisis. But the virus hasn't stopped the political and tactical manoeuvring in Syria and questions remain whether the tactical ceasefire agreed to between the Russian and Turkish governments can hold.
