Dr John Bruni, SAGE International Australia’s CEO was quoted in the Friends of Europe’s 2016 Security Jam report, launched Thursday 30^th June 2016 & submitted to the Deputy Prime Minister of Belgium & Belgium’s Minister of Foreign Affairs & European Affairs, Didier Reynders.

The report, 2016 Security Jam – Beyond conventional security challenges, summarises the key discussions of a 4-day global online forum on international security challenges, held between 25^th and 28^th April. A key feature of the report are 10 recommendations and a road map of concrete short-, medium- and long-term initiatives.

The six topics of the 2016 Jam were: strategic foresight and earlier-warning; global partnerships for conflict prevention; a regional security architecture for the Middle East; foreign military engagement 2025; policing 2025: new strategies against transnational crime; and answers to radicalisation and violent extremism.

Organised by think thank “Friends of Europe” and key partners, the event brought together some 2,500 participants from 131 countries, which included VIP Jammers, Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defence and NGO leaders.
